Why Public Officials

The truth is, that's his job. The mission statement for the Bureau of Air Quality said that they are responsible for identifying and regulating harmful air particulates. Their mission statement posted on their website has since been deeply revised, but still states:
Anyway, after speaking with Jim, I followed up by emailing links to videos, links to numerous photos, and continuous ongoing details about odors in the air, health reactions of both myself and friends and relatives, plus detailed accounts of environmental effects. I also provided a link to the epic chemtrail video, "What in the World are They Spraying?" I'm not new to the process of working with public servants in management positions, and the sincere impression that I have of the majority (not all) of them is that their primary purpose is not to protect the public, instead, it is to:
Excuses, ExcusesHistorically, when middle-management public servants are asked why they didn't respond to reports of some epic crime, they respond that—to them—the report of the crime sounded strange and they didn't believe it. They get away with this ridiculous excuse because they are surrounded by bureaucrats who have the same mind set (I want to keep my job) and who use the same excuse. Historically, we are expected to believe that this excuse is justifiable simply because there is a consensus among bureaucrats. The fact is, this shameful excuse should be considered neglectful and should be used as evidence to keep neglectful people from ever working in responsible management positions again. Their feet absolutely must be held to the fire. Their neglect needs to be seen for what it really is: aiding and abetting the execution of a crime. AccountabilityTo neglect the discovery and exposure of a crime is—in effect—to participate in it, and those who do must be held responsible. They must be fired for the resulting death and illness they cause when holding the very office intended to prevent it. It is this "protect my job" attitude that enables and empowers these crimes—like chemtrails—to continue, and until they begin being fired and prosecuted for their gross criminal neglect, others public servants in similar positions will never take their responsibility seriously. In short: We must implement accountability. We need to relearn the essentials of human nature in regard to responsibility:
People hired for leadership positions, especially in positions of government, are expected to be just that; leaders. To be anything less is evidence that they have risen to a position of obsolescence. Update August 23, 2011: I just checked and discovered that Melanie Loyzim is now the acting Director of the Maine Bureau of Air Quality. Related LinksThe Aluminization of Our Soils |
